A 4 1/2" x 6" [11 x 15 cm] Autograph Book Page (signed on both sides) (Learn More) Charles Rogers (often billed as either Charles 'Buddy' Rogers or Buddy Rogers) was a major lead actor from the 1920s to the 1950s. Some of his movies include: Wings, My Best Girl, and So's Your Old Man. He is well remembered for having married Mary Pickford after she was divorced from Douglas Fairbanks (he was 11 years younger than she was, and people thought their marriage would not last, but they remained married for 42 years until her death in 1979). He lived another 20 years after that. Since Pickford was nicknamed "America's Sweetheart", he was sometimes referred to as "America's Boyfriend". AND Lane Chandler (born Robert Chandler Oakes) was an actor from the 1920s to the 1970s. Some of his movies include: Open Range, Sagebrush Trail, Reap the Wild Wind, and Requiem for a Gunfighter Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Charles Buddy Rogers AND Lane Chandler (it has one signature on each side). Once you would choose which side you wanted to display, it could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! There is a signature image on each side of the page, so we have provided an image of each side, and please realize that the winner of this auction will receive ONE autograph book page that was signed on both sides! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia collector and dealer from the 1970s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity (unless noted above). Condition: good to very good.
