An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Richard Dix (born Ernest Carlton Brimmer) was an actor from the 1920s to the 1940s. He was a major star at Paramount in the 1920s and 1930s. Some of his movies include: Cimarron (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Vanishing American, Redskin, and The Ten Commandments. He passed away in 1949 at the age of 56. His son, Robert Dix, was an actor who was just 14 when his dad passed away, and Robert passed away in 2018 at the age of 83. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Richard Dix! Also note that this still measures 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock and it has an embossed photographer's stamp in the bottom right. Our consignor is in the movie business, and many years ago he acquired this signed item (and several others, which we are also auctioning) from an older man who had been in the movie business even longer, and that man had acquired the autographs when he met the celebrities. Our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
