Date Sold 12/9/2012Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Tri-Folded Billboard Advertising Poster (measures approximately 9' x 20') (Learn More) P. Ballantine & Sons Brewing Company was an American brewery founded in 1840 by Peter Ballantine, making Ballantine one of the oldest brands of beer in the United States. At its peak, it was the 3rd largest brewer in the US. It may be best know for its Ballantine XXX Ale, and the Ballantine logo is three interlocking rings, a design known as the Borromean rings. The brand is currently owned and operated by Pabst Brewing Company. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this billboard advertising poster was printed in 14 sections designed to overlap. Also note this poster was folded in a way that makes it resemble a tri-folded six-sheet (only much larger, of course, as there are more sections). But the length and width of the folded poster is just about the same as that of a folded six-sheet or three-sheet. This means that this poster needs to be sent in an oversized flat package, which will measure roughly 15" x 32", and approximately 2" high, and it will cost more to send than a regular sized package. Condition: very good to fine. The poster has some darkening, stains, and some wear on the section that was on the outside when it was fully folded. It has some small tears and minor defects on some of the folds and borders of the other sections, but overall, it has survived in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
