An Original Vintage Autographed Comic Book (measures 7 1/4" x 10 1/4" [18 x 26 cm]) (Learn More)

Kerwin Mathews was an actor from the 1950s to the 1970s. He is probably best remembered for his starring role in Ray Harryhausen's "The 7th Voyage of Sinbad". Some of his film roles include: The 3 Worlds of Gulliver, Jack the Giant Killer, Man on a String, Panic in Bangkok, and Nightmare in Blood (his last film role). Note that Kerwin was gay, and we can't find any reference to him being "closeted" or it having any impact on his career, an amazing feat considering the time of his acting career! He passed away in 2007 at the age of 81. He was survived by his partner of 46 years, Tom Nicoll.
Important Added Info: Note that this comic book has been personally autographed (signed) by Kerwin Mathews! Our consignor was a personal friend of Mr. Mathews and obtained this autograph in person at his home. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic. Please note that we don't use a "comic guide" grading system, and OUR grading scale is completely different from standard comic book grading. Our "very good" is completely different from a comic book graded "very good". We provide images of the comic book covers, plus 2 interior 2-page spreads, which should allow you to get a sense of the condition of this comic book.

As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.

Condition: good.
