They called him 'Hondo'"; based on the novel by Louis L'Amour; a complicated story of a part Indian cowboy who kills a man and then feels obligated to help provide for that man's widow and child, and there is a Native American chief who is interested in the child, and much more happens!) starring John Wayne (in the title role as Hondo Lane), Geraldine Page (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; billed as "and introducing Geraldine Page"), Ward Bond, Michael Pate, James Arness, Rodolfo Acosta, Leo Gordon, and Lee Aaker NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. Prior to linenbacking, the poster was in good condition. The blank borders were entirely trimmed off and there was some paper loss down much of the vertical foldline and some of the horizontal foldlines. The masters at Studio C (the premier restoration studio) put new borders on the poster and repaired the paper loss on all the foldlines. But they did not put a lot of paint of the poster, so you can still see the restoration from inches away, but from any distance away, the flaws are not very noticeable and this poster looks great!
