Don't Gamble With Love, the 1936 Dudley Murphy romantic gambling casino crime melodrama ("He'd bet on anything ...except a woman!"; "Ripping the lid off America's gambling Hells"; "He'll give you odds ...But never let you win"; about a man who runs an honest gambling house, a rarity in the 1930s!; but his wife doesn't want their son to grow up around a gambler, so she convinces him to sell out to a man who cheats his customers; he gets a job in a stock market office, and gets arrested when the owner skips town; he returns to the casino business, which causes his wife to leave him; he opens a dishonest casino, and his wife ends up turning him into the cops, in order to get him out of gambling, and it succeeds, and they are reunited!) starring Ann Sothern, Bruce Cabot, Irving Pichel, Franklin Pangborn, and Ian Keith
