The Silent Lover, the 1926 George Archainbaud silent northern Africa romantic love triangle French Foreign Legion military adventure melodrama ("Adapted from Lajos Biro's play 'The Legionary'"; a wild story of a French Count who goes broke and enlists in the Foreign Legion, where he is sent to Africa and redeems himself, but he gets in trouble, and he frames a native girl who loves him, and he gets involved with an American woman touring Africa, and his post is under siege from Bedouin natives, but when it turns out that the native girl is the daughter of the chief, they trade her for peace) starring Milton Sills, Charlie Murray, Viola Dana, Arthur Stone, Natalie Kingston, William Humphrey, Arthur Edmund Carewe, and William V. Mong. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a large collection of jumbo lobby cards we were consigned (it includes some "vertical" star portraits as well). In addition to including many extremely rare titles, many of the jumbo lobby cards are in nice condition (some have staining or paper loss, which is clearly marked when it is present, but almost all the cards are not at all fragile, which is a big plus with this size of movie paper).

Condition: good. There are some tears and tiny paper loss around the edges. There are creases and scuffs scattered in the image.
