10 Original Vintage 7" x 9" Television Stills (Learn More)

The Return of Marcus Welby M.D., the 1984 made-for-TV medical doctor hospital melodrama starring Robert Young (best remembered as TV's most genial father on "Father Knows Best", but he had an amazingly long movie career before that, beginning with lead roles as early as 1932, and continuing with starring roles throughout the 1930s and 1940s; in 1949, he appeared on the radio show "Father Knows Best", and between that show and its TV version, which appeared from 1954 to 1960, he did virtually no movies; in the 1960s, he mostly did TV guest appearances, and in 1969, he had yet another major success starring as Marcus Welby, M.D which ran until 1976, and he passed away in 1998 at the age of 91!), Jessica Walter, Dennis Haysbert, Elena Verdugo, and Darren McGavin

Important Added Info: Note that most of the stills have a snipe lightly glued to the back (and each snipe gives much information about the still). They come to us from a man who worked for a newspaper during those years, and he saw that the newspaper did not want the stills after using them, so he asked if he could have them, and he has saved them over all these years and is offering them now! Also note that these TV stills measure 7" x 9". SUPER IMPORTANT! THIS LOT CONTAINS 10 STILLS, BUT ONLY FOUR OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED! THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 10 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE, and NOT just the four pictured! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best four stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing four of the stills.

Note that on our larger lots of black and white stills (usually ones with nine or more in the lot), there are a small number of lots where there may be one or several duplicated stills in the stills not pictured (we only picture four of the stills on most of the black and white lots). We tried to note when some of the stills not pictured were duplicates to the ones that were pictured, but we may not have caught that every time, so please do not bid on the lots of nine or more stills unless you can accept the possibility that there may be some duplicated stills contained in the lot (there also may be a very few of the lots with eight or less stills that have a duplicate in them, but that is far less likely).

Also note that the items in this lot are from the 1970s to the 1980s. All of them have a snipe that folds over the bottom of the still and it is lightly glued to the back, which was done by the studio when the stills were made (and each snipe gives much information about the still). They come to us from a man who worked for a newspaper during those years, and he saw that the newspaper did not want the stills after using them, so he asked if he could have them, and he has saved them over all these years and is offering them now!
