Important Added Info: Note that any posters from the first release of this classic movie are extremely rare and expensive. Perhaps that was because there was a re-release which was made just ten years after the original, and probably whatever original 1942 paper was still around in 1952 was used up during that re-release, which would help explain why so little original 1942 movie paper still survives! We have only previously auctioned three examples of this one-sheet, and the last time was 15 years ago, when it sold for $5,555! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the bottom crossfold, with tiny paper loss at the other two crossfolds. It had just a few tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of the folds. It had tiny pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! This is a poster that is extremely hard to find in nice condition, and I feel certain that the new owner of this poster will be very happy with it! Learn More about condition grades
