What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds, with four 1" horizontal tears, two pairs that are 2" above and below the top and bottom crossfolds, with some tiny creases and fine surface paper loss on the folds. The bottom 4" of the poster was folded back at one time. There are some tack holes and stains around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
