An Original Vintage Movie Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm], 133 pages) (Learn More)

All That Money Can Buy, the classic 1941 William Dieterle fantasy horror melodrama ("Based on the Story 'The Devil and Daniel Webster' by Stephen Vincent Benet"; "Daniel & the Devil"; about a man in colonial New England who sells his soul to the Devil, and the legendary politician Daniel Webster shows up to win his soul back!) starring Edward Arnold (as Daniel Webster), Walter Huston (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as "Mr. Scratch" the Devil), Jane Darwell, Simone Simon, James Craig (as Jabez Stone), Gene Lockhart, John Qualen (as Miser Stevens), and Anne Shirley (as Mary Stone). James Craig and Anne Shirley have by far the most screen time of any actors in this movie, but because of their relatively far lower prominence at that time, RKO placed them both extremely low in the billing for the movie!

Important Added Info: Note that this script is the final draft from February 18, 1941 and the screenplay was written by Dan Dotheroh. Also note that the script has the working title "A Certain Mr. Scratch", but the movie ultimately was called "All That Money Can Buy". The first interior page had a form that was signed by the person receiving the script and it had perforations in the bottom one-third of that page, and that form has been removed from that page (which is as intended, and is typical with such scripts). This was the way the studio kept track of who had these scripts!

Condition: good. The perforated receipt is missing from the first page (see above). There are also tears and areas of paper loss around the edges of the cover only, with some staining on the cover. The interior pages are in pretty good condition and are not fragile like the cover. See our multiple images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this script.
