She initially appeared as a 7 year-old in Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. When she turned 17, she met 49 year-old Meshulam Riklis, and they married when she was 23. In 1982, she appeared in Butterfly, and Riklis apparently bought her the Golden Globe Award for Best Newcomer! She had some success as a pop singer in the 1980s, and appeared in several other films including: The Lonely Lady, Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult, and Hairspray Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION (which is a color photo that Miss Zadora took with her children and sent out as a holiday photo) has been personally autographed (signed) by Pia Zadora! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this REPRODUCTION measures 6 3/4" x 6 3/4" [17 x 17 cm], but it has not been trimmed. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: fair to good. The photo was glued to a foil backing and was a holiday photo. Someone separated the photo part from the rest of the card.
