An Original 1950s Vintage Theatrical Stock Folded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) The Range Busters, the circa 1950s stock poster used by theaters to advertise re-released cowboy western movies starring Ray 'Crash' Corrigan, John 'Dusty' King, and Max 'Alibi' Terhune. Theaters would order this poster, which has a large blank area at the bottom or middle of the poster where the studio would overprint the title of a specific movie, thus getting many posters for the price of one. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "stock" poster created by Monogram for use by theaters showing re-releases of their late 1930s and early 1940s Range Busters movies in the late 1940s. Theaters would order this poster, which had a large blank area in bottom center. Sometimes the studio would overprint the stock poster with the title of a specific movie, and sometimes they sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, so the theater could paste in each snipe as needed, thus getting many posters for the price of one. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fair. There are creases, scuffs, and stains scattered throughout the poster. There is a large tear at right and there is much tattering around the edges of the poster with brown tape repairs on the back. There is a paper tape snipe over the blank area at bottom. Learn More about condition grades
