An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Thelma, the 1922 Chester Bennett silent romantic melodrama ("Marie Corelli's greatest romance and the most beautiful love story of all times comes to life on the motion picture screen"; "The most stunning Parisian fashion creations will be worn by Jane Novak when she appears at this theatre in Marie Corelli's greatest romantic love story...") starring Jane Novak (billed as "Bewitching"; in the title role as Thelma Guildmar), Barbara Tennant, Gordon Mullen, Bert Sprotte, and Vernon Steele NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good to very good. The tape is missing from the top border. There is slight smudging on the glass (it is not very distracting, and it could likely be cleaned). The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Learn More about condition grades
