An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Cricket, the 1917 Elsie Jane Wilson silent family relationship melodrama ("A heart interest drama produced by Elsie Jane Wilson"; about a young girl who stars in a play and wants to become an actress, but her mother dies, and three men jointly raise her, and they try to get her successfully married to a banker, but she runs off with an actor, and they don't see her for years, but then they attend a performance of a play she is starring in) starring Zoe Rae (billed as "Little Zoe Rae"; in the title role as Cricket, as a child), Rena Rogers (in the title role as the adult Cricket), Gretchen Lederer, Fred Warren, Harry Holden, and Winter Hall Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass, but the play dates were mostly erased (see our image). The slide is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
