An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Those Who Dance, the 1930 William Beaudine gangster police crime melodrama starring Lila Lee, Monte Blue, William 'Stage' Boyd, Betty Compson, and William Janney. This movie was filmed in multiple languages (there was a Spanish version, "Los que danzan", a German version, "Der Tanz geht weiter", and a French version, "Contre-enquete"). Universal did the same thing with "Dracula" in 1931. They filmed the movie twice, once in English, and once in Spanish, with two entirely different casts, U.S. actors for the English version and mostly Latin actors for the Spanish version, obviously for release in Spanish speaking countries, and the same was done with this movie, except there were four versions (the Spanish language version starred Antonio Moreno and Maria Alba, the French version starred Daniel Mendaille and Suzy Vernon, and the German version starred William Dieterle and Lissy Arna; Dieterle later became the famous director, and here he was billed under his given name of Wilhelm). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. There is a faint diagonal crease running down the right of the card, but it is mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light.
