An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Forty by Sixty Movie Poster (measures 40" x 60") (Learn More) Bullitt, the classic 1968 Peter Yates San Francisco California crime car chase action thriller ("The word 'cop' isn't written all over him - something more puzzling is."; "There are bad cops and there are good cops - and then there's Bullitt."; "Bullitt comes to this theatre soon. That ought to shake up the place pretty good. Not many freaky cops like Bullitt around. You look at the Italian shoes and the turtleneck and you have to wonder. You listen to the official beefs about 'personal misconduct,' 'disruptive influence,' you figure he's got to be up for trade. But when some rare Chicago blood starts spilling in San Francisco, they give Bullitt the mop. They weren't exactly doing him a favor. But they've done a great big one for you."; "Detective Lt. Frank Bullitt - some other kind of cop. Pity the guy he works for."; "Based on the novel 'Mute Witness' by Robert L. Pike"; about a detective who drives a 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback while pursuing professional hitmen who murdered the wrong guy and let's not forget the really cool chase scenes!) starring Steve McQueen (in the title role "as Bullitt"), Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bisset, Don Gordon, Robert Duvall, Simon Oakland, and Norman Fell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. 3" tear in the bottom center of the poster; many small tears, creases, and smudges in the blank borders; a few creases throughout the poster including several McQueen's face; a 3" tear in the right of the top border (repaired with tape from the back) This poster is in "lesser" condition (what many dealers would describe as "good" or "good to very good", or in the case of posters with more serious defects, which should be easily seen on our large images, "fair")! It has clear defects, which are likely to be very noticeable in our "large" or "super-sized" images that you can click on from our small image at right. In addition, we have also noted in words what these defects are in our "Description of Defects" section above, as some of these defects may not be all that visible in the images (reading what we wrote and looking at the super-sized image should tell you right away whether it is in "good to very good", "good", or "fair" condition). We know that some collectors could accept this poster's defects, and display it as is, and we also know that many collectors would only be happy with this poster if they had it restored, so please do not bid on it unless you can accept it as it is, or are willing to pay to have it properly restored. Of course, you should realize that if you do not bid on this poster because of its condition defects, it may be quite some time before you see this poster offered again!
