An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Branded Man, the 1918 Universal silent cowboy western short starring Helen Gibson, G. Raymond Nye, Donna Kee, Millard K. Wilson, Hoot Gibson, and Noble Johnson. Note that Hoot Gibson was a real life cowboy who worked in Wild West shows and as a stuntman in movies of the 1910s. During this time, he was married to Helen Gibson, who was a major silent star. In the 1920s, he became a major star of B-westerns. This was one of his early movies where he likely was cast for his stuntman abilities.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this is a movie from Universal Studios, and yet this card does not have a Universal logo on it. Since it is the absolute only movie paper item we have ever seen from this movie, we can't say for certain if it is first release or an early re-release, but we think it is first release, because Hoot Gibson is not billed at all, and we think he surely would have been billed if it was a 1920s re-release (the IMDb says he is top billed, but we suspect that they are wrong). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
