An Original Vintage Space Commander Suit (size 10; measures 18" x 45") (Learn More)

Lost in Space, the 1965 - 1968 family fantasy science fiction (sci-fi) adventure television (TV) comedy series starring Guy Williams (as Professor John Robinson), June Lockhart (as Maureen Robinson), Mark Goddard (as Major Don West), Marta Kristen (as Judy Robinson), Bill Mumy (as Will Robinson), Angela Cartwright (as Penny Robinson), Jonathan Harris (as Dr. Zachary Smith), and "The Robot" (designed by Robert Kinoshita, the man who made Robby the Robot from Forbidden Planet, and Bob May was the man inside the robot, and Dick Tufeld provided his distinctive voice ["Danger! Danger! Will Robinson!"])
Important Added Info: Note that this costume was won in a local television contest by our consignor. It was a contest run by a Pennsylvania TV station in 1965. The consignor has provided us with a picture of him wearing it while playing his drums (see the image)! We don't know how this costume was obtained by the station. It would seem to be very odd that a TV station would run a contest to give away a store bought costume, but we suppose that is possible. There is a tag on the costume that reads "Sanforized 100% cotton RN 18985 Size 10", and we don't know what that means. Since the costume has a patch on it that reads "LOST IN SPACE TV-10", it seems quite possible the TV station itself made the costume and that it may be one of a kind! Please only bid on this costume if you can accept these uncertainties as to its origins.

Condition: good to very good. The costume was stored folded for years and has many creases. It has some stains just below the collar on the left and right. Please look at our images before bidding on this costume.
