Some of his movies include: The Bells of St. Mary's, Who Done It?, They Knew What They Wanted (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and You Only Live Once. He passed away in 1979 at the age of 73. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by William Gargan! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. The consignor of this autographed item (and a large number of other signed items in this auction) is a longtime autograph collector who does not have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for this item, but he feels certain it is genuine. Many of the items he has consigned were purchased from an autograph store that was going out of business when the owner retired, and many of the items he has consigned to this set of auctions come from this purchase.
