An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Dumb Dicks, the 1932 Ralph Ceder detective crime comedy short (about two incompetent private detectives who infiltrate a criminal gang while posing as swamis!) starring Benny Rubin, Harry Gribbon, Heinie Conklin, Eddie Boland, and Budd Fine. Note that the word "dick" was a slang way of referring to a private detective in the 1930s, and it was frequently used in movies of that time. Of course that usage has changed, and we think it very unlikely it will ever make a comeback, given its alternate meaning.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster is extremely rare. It is the only poster of any kind that we have ever auctioned from this movie! Given that this was a comedy short, it is likely that next to no theaters ordered posters for it (and the studio likely only made a one sheet and a set of four lobby cards)

Condition: good to very good. The poster has light yellow stains scattered in the bottom border slightly extending into the bottom edge of the image. There is tiny paper loss in the upper right corner and a 3" tear in the upper right border. There is 1 1/2" of separation at the top and bottom crossfolds and two extra partial vertical folds near to the regular ones. There are some creases in the bottom center of the image. After a relatively simple linenbacking the poster will look fantastic!
