A Collection of 41 Original Vintage Theatrical Felt Pennants (ranging in size from 3" x 7 1/2" [8 x 19 cm] to 3" x 8" [8 x 20 cm]) (Learn More) a collection of 41 felt pennants from the 1910s. These were created in the mid 1910s, with all the top stars of the day, with the studio that they worked for, including Charlie Chaplin, the "Essanay Star", Ethel Barrymore, the "Metro Star", Mary Pickford, of "Famous Players Film Co", and 38 others. They were very popular at the time, but naturally, few have survived, because of the material they were created on and the fact that most were displayed. The collection we are currently offering was assembled by a collector approximately 40 years ago. He recently passed away and his family members have consigned this collection to us, and we are offering it here, so the winning bidder will receive all 41 pennants. To try to duplicate this collection would surely take a lifetime! Condition: very good to fine. The pennants are in generally nice condition, but of course, they are over a century old, so bear that in mind (and look at our super-sized images) before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
