They had fun"; "Written by Barry Sandler") starring James Brolin (in the title role "as Clark Gable"), Jill Clayburgh (in the title role "as Carole Lombard"), Allen Garfield, Red Buttons, and Joanne Linville NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this script is the final draft from April 30, 1975 and the screenplay was written by Barry Sandler. Also note that the script has the working title "Lombard and Gable", but the movie ultimately was called "Gable and Lombard". The name "Jack Rush" is written in pencil on the cover of the script, and we don't know how this person was connected to the movie, and this script could have been his personal copy, or his name could have been written there for a different purpose. Condition: good to very good. Someone put five pieces of clear tape down the left of the cover and wrapped it over to the back cover. Otherwise, the script is in pretty good condition. Note that we have photographed the cover of the script, the title page, the final page of the script (the one that reads "THE END"), and one or more interior pages.
