It shows Frank Capra holding his Best Director Oscar at the Academy Awards ceremony (for "It Happened One Night")! Also note that this news photo measures 8 1/4" x 11 1/4" [21 x 29 cm]. Condition: good. The photo was used in a newspaper or magazine and there is much touch up paint around Capra's head. There is also surface paper damage in the upper right and lower right, caused by something that was placed on that part of the still to mask it out. Obviously, this wonderful still can be restored, or it could be displayed and enjoyed just as it is, but bear in mind its defects and look at our super-sized image before placing a bid on it.
