An Undated (probably 1920s) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Less Than Kin, the 1919 Donald Crisp silent mistaken identity romantic melodrama ("By Alice Duer Miller"; about a man who is accused of a murder he did not commit, and he flees to South America, and amazingly, he meets a man who is the heir to a huge fortune, who looks exactly like him, but the heir left his family a dozen years before for vague reasons!; they become fast friends, but when the rich heir dies, his friend decides to impersonate him, and he does so successfully, until the man's ex-wife shows up, and he fools her too, but when he realizes he loves her, he confesses everything, but it all works out because he is cleared of the murder charge, and he marries his "wife"!) starring Wallace Reid (in a dual role), Ann Little, Raymond Hatton, Noah Beery Sr., and James Neill. Note that it was a pretty common plot device in silent movies to not only have people meet their exact double, but also to then go on to impersonate them. I wonder if this happens much in real life. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
