Gordon Edwards silent Biblical historical romantic betrayal melodrama ("The seductress who sowed sin in ancient Galilee, whose tempestuous blood has traced a scarlet thread through the centuries"; "A Theda Bara Super Production"; based on the Biblical story of Salome, King Herod, and John the Baptist) starring Theda Bara ("Siren supreme of the screen"; in the title role as Salome), G. Raymond Nye (as King Herod), Alan Roscoe (as John the Baptist), Herbert Hayes, and Bertram Grassby. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Important Added Info: Note that we have pictured the front cover and an interior 2-page spread from this program. You can use these images to determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image, but realize that there are some other pages you are not seeing. Condition: fair to good. There is water staining at the spine of all pages. The pages are not stuck together, but there is a page where there was a small area stuck together that caused surface paper loss in the text on one side and left paper stuck to the right end of two images (but in background areas). The image at the top left of the inside back cover has much deterioration from the water staining. There are many creases and scuffs on the covers. Obviously, one would much prefer to find a much better example of this program book, but we are sure this is incredibly rare and probably very hard to find in any condition!
