An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More)

The Bugle Call, the 1927 Edward Sedgwick silent post-Civil War military cavalry western adventure melodrama ("'The Indian attack'") starring Jackie Coogan, Claire Windsor, Herbert Rawlinson, Tom O'Brien, and Harry Todd. Note that this movie is believed to be "lost".

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster is from a remarkable group of mid-1920s inserts that has just been discovered! There are twelve of them, and we are auctioning them this week in twelve separate auctions, at the start of our listings. While the poster has never been folded, it is 83 years old, so we would not want to attempt to roll it, so it will be sent in a large flat package. This will cost more than our standard size packages, so for this poster, and the other eleven inserts we are auctioning this week, the buyer will need to pay the actual cost of shipping for this poster (and of course, if this poster is purchased with other inserts, they can all be sent together in a single flat package).

Condition: good. The poster was never folded. There is a small hole in the top right corner in the red background and a few small stains in the bottom center in the red background. There is staining in the lower part of the right blank border, slightly extending into the image in the bottom right. There are some stains, smudges, and a few tiny areas of paper loss in the other borders. The poster can be displayed exactly as it is (because most of the defects are in the blank borders), or it could be paperbacked by a talented restorer, and it would likely require very little paint restoration anywhere in the image, because most of the restoration would be removing the stains, which mostly could be done through chemical means.
