An Unfolded Special Poster (measures 32 1/4" x 43 3/4" [82 x 111 cm]) (Learn More)

Winslow Health and Hygiene Series, the 1929 series of posters edited by Dr. Charles-Edward Amory Winslow, which focused on human anatomy, health and hygiene. Dr. Winslow was a bacteriologist and public health expert who was, according to the Encyclopedia of Public Health, "a seminal figure in public health, not only in his own country, the United States, but in the wider Western world." Note that these posters were printed by the Denoyer-Geppert Co. of Chicago, who were primarily focused on creating maps and globes, but also branched out into classroom educational charts.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this poster!

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded and has many light creases scattered in parts of the poster, but they are not very noticeable or distracting from the front. It also has some pretty minor border wear. It has four holes in the top border that we are sure were intentional so that the poster could be displayed in a classroom.
