An Original 1954 (from the first release of this movie in Japan) Vintage Theatrical Folded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20 1/4" x 28 5/8" [51 x 73 cm]) (Learn More) Walt Disney's Fun and Fancy Free, the 1947 William Morgan (he directed the live action sequences) Walt Disney feature length animated animation cartoon ("Full-length musical cartoon feature"; "6 song hits"; "More fun-per-minute than any Disney ever!"; one of the segments was based on an original story by Sinclair Lewis) starring Edgar Bergen & Charlie McCarthy, Dinah Shore, and Luana Patten, and featuring the voices of Pinto Colvig (as Goofy), Walt Disney (as the voice of Mickey Mouse; he is pictured along with Donald Duck, Goofy, and Jiminy Cricket on the posters, and this was the only film that featured all four of those most classic Disney characters), and Clarence Nash (as Donald Duck). Also note that in this film, the Disney characters and Charlie McCarthy were given regular billing, as though they were actual actors! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is the first time we have ever auctioned this rare Japanese B2! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. There is slight discoloration scattered in some areas of the poster (mostly along the upper foldlines and upper edge which also has a few patches of light rippling) due to exposure to moisture. Most of the slight discoloration along the upper foldlines is more noticeable on the back. There are a few small tears at upper left in the left portion of the upper horizontal fold (under the bear's arm.) It is otherwise in pretty good condition and if one chose to have it restored it would look great, although I imagine many collectors would be happy with this rare Disney poster as it is.
