An Autographed Letter (measures 6 1/2" x 8 1/4" [17 x 21 cm]) (Learn More) Pete Seeger was a folk rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) musician and activist from the 1940s to the 2010s. Seeger had a string of hit records during the early 1950s as a member of the Weavers, and in the 1960s, Seeger re-emerged on the public scene as a prominent singer of protest music in support of international disarmament, civil rights, counterculture, workers rights, and environmental causes. Some of his songs include: We Shall Overcome, Wimoweh, and Turn! Turn! Turn!. He passed away in 2014 at the age of 94. Important Added Info: Note that this letter has been personally autographed (signed) by Pete Seeger (he added a drawing of a banjo)! Our consignor purchased this from Alexander Autographs, and it has a sheet from that company describing the item. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
