An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22") (Learn More)

Sunday Dinner For a Soldier, the 1944 Lloyd Bacon World War II (WWII) Home Front military romantic melodrama ("Based on a story by Martha Cheavens") starring Anne Baxter, John Hodiak, Charles Winninger, Anne Revere, Connie Marshall, Chill Wills, Robert Bailey, Bobby Driscoll, Jane Darwell, and Marietta Canty. Note that Connie Marshall was a teen actress who had been a child model, and she had significant roles in "Dragonwyck" and "Sentimental Journey" two years later, but after that, as she aged, her career stalled (she was in some good movies like "Mr. Blandings Builds his Dream House", but she had a minor role), and in 1954, she quit acting and got married and raised a family. She was so forgotten that her passing in 2001 was not noted in the media until five years later. But for a few years in the mid 1940s, she was a top juvenile actress!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: This window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: very good. The card has darkened around the edges but is otherwise in nice condition!
