Date Sold 1/24/2012Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" [17 x 22 cm] News Photo (Learn More) Earl Carroll was a theatrical producer, director and songwriter from the 1920s to the 1940s. Some of his works include: Earl Carroll's Vanities, Earl Carroll's Sketch Book, and Murder at the Vanities. He passed away in 1948 at the age of 54 in an airplane crash. Important Added Info: Note that this news photo shows Earl Carroll and "his justly famous beauties" helping build the world's largest milk bottle, 15 feet high in Times Square in New York City (of course, at that time, Jackie Coogan was the greatest child star, and the joke was that he would want a milk bottle). Also note that the snipe tells that Coogan was going to the Holy Lands to help near east relief orphans, to whom he will bring a million dollar cargo of milk, corn syrup, and flour! It measures 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" [17 x 22 cm]. Condition: very good. The snipe has separated near the top, but the still itself is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
