An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Style B Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Dementia 13 (also released as "The Haunted and the Hunted"), the 1963 Francis Ford Coppola (very early in his career!) AIP horror thriller ("Are you afraid of death by drowning?... Have you ever attempted suicide?... Have you ever thought of committing murder?... These are some of the questions you will be asked in the unprecedented 'D-13 Test' to prepare you for the horrifying experience of... Dementia 13"; "If You Fail The Test... You will be asked to leave the theatre!"; "Which One Is The Killer?"; "Richard... Brooding artist, hiding a deep secret."; "Louise... Willing to do anything to gain fortune."; "Dr. Calbe... Was he investigating his own crime?"; "Billy... Warped by the mystery of the castle."; "Lady Haloran... Is she revenging the death of Kathleen?"; "The most terrifying screen experience of your life!"; produced by Roger Corman) starring William Campbell, Luana Anders, Bart Patton, Mary Mitchell, Patrick Magee, Ethne Dunn, and Barbara Dowling NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Ray Burns Important Added Info: Note that we have long noted the classic art on U.S. posters from this movie as being by "Roy Besser", for that is the best we could make out of the fuzzy signature that is on several poster sizes, and no one has ever corrected us. But we have not had this half-sheet before, and on this half-sheet, the art is clearly signed "Ray Burns"! We are very glad to correct this error! Also note that this poster has never been machine folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded once horizontally and once vertically right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded copy of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970! Condition: very good to fine. There is tape in all four blank corners, and a tear and surface paper loss in the bottom left blank corner where the tape was mostly removed. There are some faint smudges and scuffs throughout the image, more so in the solid background areas. IN THIS SPECIAL HALLOWEEN AUCTION, we have given a more detailed overall condition grade along with more details about the condition described in words. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, plus there are some defects (like separation on folds, tape on the back, extremely tiny pinholes, etc) which can be VERY difficult to see, even in our largest "super-sized" image. Therefore we strongly recommend that you BOTH read our written description of the item, AND ALSO look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.
