Artist: Bob Peak Important Added Info: Note that this is an incredibly rare poster, which we have never auctioned before! Condition: fair to good. It appears the poster was displayed and that the reds in the poster faded considerably. It had some stains scattered throughout, with pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to restoration. A restorer gel backed the poster (meaning they backed the poster onto a gel material) and they then performed restoration to the above defects, and then removed the gel backing. Given the poster's major defects, the restorer did a pretty good job, because the poster can definitely be displayed and enjoyed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration, and the restorer did not address the fading. Obviously, one would much prefer a better condition example of this poster, but we have never auctioned one, and it is surely incredibly rare. Learn More about condition grades
