An Undated (probably 1950s) Re-Release Theatrical Folded French "Affiche" Movie Poster (23x32; measures 23 1/2" x 31 3/4" [60 x 81 cm]) (Learn More)

La Cage aux Rossignols (released in the U.S. in 1947 as "A Cage of Nightingales"), the 1945 Jean Dreville French boarding school juvenile musical melodrama (based on the story by Georges Chaperot) starring Noel-Noel, Rene Genin, Micheline Francey, Rene Blancard, Georges Biscot, Marguerite Ducouret, and Jean Morel (billed as "J. Morel")
Artist: d'apres Roulbol
Important Added Info: Note that this poster reuses the art from the first release French poster, but because it was not the first time the art was used, the poster designer added "d'apres", meaning that this was not the first time this artwork was used. Note also that this is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. The poster has some tears of varying lengths along the foldlines and edges (see our image) and it has darkened somewhat. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid.
