An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Elena Verdugo was an actress from the 1940s to the 1970s. In the 1940s, she worked for Universal and appeared in some of their horror movies! Some of her movies include: How Sweet It Is, The Lost Tribe, House of Frankenstein, and Rainbow Island. She is likely best remembered for her role as "Consuelo" on TV's "Marcus Welby, M.D." in the 1970s. She was married to Charles Marion, who was a writer at Universal in the 1940s. Verdugo passed away in 2017 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: Note that this still (which is a rare original vintage still from 1944's "House of Frankenstein") has been personally autographed (signed) by Elena Verdugo! Also note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Note that this item comes to us from an autograph collector who not only has 35 years experience, but is also a historian and federally certified archivist as well! We are 100% certain the autograph on this item is authentic! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. Condition: good to very good. There are some stains and smudges in the top blank border, and a few creases across the center of the still (likely caused when Miss Verdugo autographed it).
