Artist: Robert McGinnis & Frank McCarthy Important Added Info: Note that this six-sheet was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap. Condition: good to very good. Someone glued a black paper snipe over the word "IS" between "SEAN CONNERY" and "JAMES BOND". Someone later tried to start to remove the snipe, by lifting the top right corner, but they caused small surface paper loss under it, so they stopped (it would need to be removed by a professional or a very talented amateur). There is a tiny strip of paper loss in the foldline that falls at top left (you can see it in our image, because it is to the right of the last girl, touching her arm and leg, and ending in the "O" of "ONLY"). There is a similar but smaller thin strip of paper loss in Connery's shoulder and in two parts of the background above it. In all three cases, it is a very tiny amount of paper that was trimmed. The sections of the poster were attached to a wall with staples, and there are many pairs of staple holes around the edges, with a few tape stains on the back of the poster, but they do not affect the front. There is some darkening on the back of small parts of the folds that were on the outside when it was fully folded, but it has very little effect on the front. This poster has some odd defects, but certainly, any talented restorer could easily deal with them. But do not bid on this poster unless you have carefully read the above, carefully looked at our super-sized image, and have considered what you would do with the poster (display it as it is, or have it restored).
