Smith Civil War era singing cowboy western melodrama (about a U.S. government agent who is sent by President Lincoln to stop outlaws who have taken over a town and are hurting the war effort, but he is ambushed and loses his papers, and he is captured and tried as a spy, but there is a second secret agent who is working undercover, but must save him) starring Dick Foran ("The Singing Cowboy"), Paula Stone, William 'Wild Bill' Elliott (billed as "Gordon Elliot"), Addison Richards, Robert Barrat (as Abraham Lincoln), and Joseph Crehan. Note that it may seem really odd that they were able to work songs into this movie, but Dick Foran had become famous as "The Singing Cowboy", and so they had scenes where he sang a song at the White House for President Lincoln, and also for his girlfriend!
