It was similar to the best pulp magazines of the time (like Astounding), but they only got the stories that the better magazines rejected. However, they often had wonderful pulp covers, often with sexy girls in peril (usually in a sci-fi setting). Artist: Earle Bergey Important Added Info: Note that magazines like these were called "pulp" magazines, because they were printed on the absolute cheapest paper (the publishers did anything they could to keep costs down). The magazines were printed in "signatures", which were then assembled and trimmed together, and stapled or glued at the spine. In the case of this particular magazine, someone was not paying attention, and pages 115 to 146 were inserted upside-down! Worse yet, no one noticed, or they did notice and didn't bother to fix it! Condition: good to very good. Note that we have attempted to check to see if the magazine is complete and uncut, and we believe that it is. However, there is a slight possibility that we might have missed a small cut or a page that was neatly removed, and if that happens, you can return the magazine.
