They started working on stage together in 1935 and graduated to radio, television and film. Click on Lou Costello's name to learn much more about them! Some of their movies include: One Night in the Tropics, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, Hold That Ghost, and Who Done It. Abbott passed away in 1974 at the age of 78, and Costello passed away in 1959 at the age of 52. Important Added Info: Note that this great news photo shows Abbott and Costello sending cartons of cigarettes to G.I.s overseas during World War II, and they wrapped them in Sunday comic sections so that the G.I.s can read those as well!
