An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked English Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures approximately 41" x 85") (Learn More)

Women Men Forget, the 1920 John M. Stahl silent romantic marriage infidelity melodrama (about a woman who has an old best friend from school come visit, but the "friend" sleeps with the woman's husband, and the woman, who is pregnant, goes to live with friends; after she has her baby, she decides to get revenge on her husband and a friend of hers causes him to go bankrupt, which causes the girlfriend to desert him, and then the wife reconsiders and reunites with her husband and baby!) starring Mollie King (billed as "Molly King"), Edward Langford, Frank Mills, Lucy Fox, and Jane Jennings. Note that the screenplay for this movie was written by Paul Bern, who, in one of Hollywood's most bizarre episodes ever (which is saying a lot!), married the much young Jean Harlow in 1932 and then shot himself after their honeymoon, apologizing for "a frightful wrong" in a suicide note! It has been rumored that he was actually murdered, and the suicide was a coverup by MGM "fixers"!

Artist: L.J. Hodges
Important Added Info: Note that this poster gives billing to star Mollie King as "Molly King".

Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny areas of paper loss at some crossfolds and in parts of some foldlines, but was otherwise in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking (especially considering it is nearly 90 years-old!). The poster was pretty well backed, but at some point after it was backed, some tiny pieces of the poster chipped off (mostly along foldlines, and clearly visible in our super-sized image), but any talented restorer could certainly perform restoration to those tiny areas without re-backing the poster.
