An Unfolded German Advertising Poster (measures 18 3/4" x 27 1/2" [48 x 70 cm]) (Learn More)

Tod Dem Unkraut (literally translates to "Kill the Weeds"), the 1930s German advertising poster promoting the use of calcium cyanamide as a fertilizer/weed killer, and featuring comparison images of fields both with and without calcium cyanamide, and the top of the poster has great art of a dragon breathing cyanamide and killing weeds! Note that calcium cyanamide is produced from calcium carbide and was first synthesized in 1898. It was discovered to be an excellent fertilizer, and it was marketed as "nitrolime", and it is still used in the present day. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned this poster before, and that it is printed on a fairly heavyweight paper, but that it is still "roll-able", and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It has some tiny stains and faint smudges around the edges, but nothing much, and it displays really well.
