An all the year round resort. Good Hotels, Bathing, Boating, Fishing, Golfing, Tennis etc."; "For illustrated guide 3d. write secretary, Chamber of Commerce, Guernsey") encouraging tourism to the Bailiwick of Guernsey, a small British Crown Dependency just north of the coast of Normandy, France in the English Channel south of England. This poster was produced by the Great Western Railway of England and features great artwork by Harry Whincap Artist: Harry Whincap Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had some small scattered circular brown stains and some scuffing scattered in the image. There are some tiny tears and paper loss in parts of the borders. The poster was backed on to a very thin linen, and no restoration was performed. If I owned this poster, I would surely have it removed from the thin linen, and backed by a talented professional.
