Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures 14 1/2" x 19 3/4") (Learn More)

The Mummy's Ghost, the 1944 Reginald Le Borg Universal Egypt monster horror thriller sequel ("No chains can hold it! No tomb can seal it!"; "Nameless! Fleshless! Deathless!"; "All new terror!") starring Lon Chaney Jr. (reprising his role "as Kharis, The Mummy"), John Carradine, Ramsay Ames, Barton MacLane, George Zucco, Robert Lowery, Claire Whitney, Frank Reicher, Emmett Vogan, Harry Shannon, and Oscar O'Shea. Note that when Realart re-released all of the classic Universal monster movies starting in the late 1940s, they also re-released this movie, which was one of the very last of the original cycle of monster movies, and that Realart re-release was just four years after the first release!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good. The poster is linenbacked; it had a blank top that was trimmed off (probably around 2" of blank paper). Prior to restoration, the poster was folded horizontally and vertically. There were creases along the folds and some tears, creases, smudges, and tiny areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Either before or after the poster was backed, it was displayed, and the reds in the poster almost completely faded away. The poster was well backed, but the restorer did not attempt to address the fading issue.
