Seiter Buenos Aires Argentina romantic love triangle musical dance marriage comedy ("You'll love Hayworth's exciting loveliness! You'll go for Astaire's entrancing rhythm! Rhythm... all going to make up a refreshingly new kind of musical motion picture!"; "[Not since his memorable 'Show Boat'!]"; "Hayworth's loveliness... Astaire's dancing... Kern's music!"; "Music by Jerome Kern"; about an American dancer in Argentina who wants to perform at a nightclub, but the owner, who wants his daughters to marry in age order, insists that the dancer must court his older daughter, but naturally, he prefers her younger sister, who is played by gorgeous Rita Hayworth) starring Fred Astaire, Rita Hayworth, Adolphe Menjou, Isobel Elsom, Leslie Brooks, Adele Mara, Xavier Cugat & His Orchestra, Lina Romay, and Miguelito Valdes NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair to good. There are approximately twelve to fifteen 2-3" pieces of yellowed masking tape on back of the edges (and each is adjacent to another older tape stain) which slightly bleed through to the front, and there are 4 pieces of masking tape along the back of some portions of the vertical foldline. There are several creases, small tears and areas of paper loss along portions of the vertical foldline and lower two crossfolds, as well as the lower left horizontal fold ("in the "N" of "NEVER".) There is what appears to be paper loss in the upper crossfold, however, the paper in that area has torn and rolled itself tightly to the back of the poster, however it has stuck to a piece of tape and will likely require a restorer to remove (there could still be some small paper loss in that area). There are a few pinholes around the edges a few more minor blank border defects. Otherwise the poster is mostly "all there" and certainly it can be restored after linenbacking by a talented professional after which it would look great, but bear in mind the cost of restoration and its defects before placing a bid.
