An Original Vintage English Cigarette Card Album (measures 7" x 9 1/2" [18 x 24 cm]; contains 208 cards on 33 pages) (Learn More) English cigarette card album, the circa 1930s album featuring 33 pages of 208 tipped in cigarette premium cards (some in color) of popular movie stars including: Martha Raye, Dorothy Bartlam, Lita Chevret, Eve Thorne, and many, many more! Note that this was not an album created by the cigarette card companies, but rather was one that a fan purchased at a store that was designed to be used as an album for any type of photos, and they used it for their cigarette cards. What is really great is that unlike regular cigarette card albums, the person did not glue the cards into the album, but rather placed them in plastic sleeves and then glued the top of the plastic sleeve to the album. Therefore, the cards can be quickly and easily removed, and they are in wonderful condition, with no glue residue on the back! The cards contained are from several different English series of cards measuring different sizes and we don't recognize many of the actresses, likely because they were much better known in England than in the U.S., but clearly the person who assembled this book had a great love of sexy women, because the majority of the cards are actresses in swimsuit or lingerie "cheesecake" poses!
