The Barrier of Flames, the 1914 Jack Harvey silent canine crime firefighter government crime melodrama short ("After the fire"; "2 reels"; about a corrupt political boss who uses a mayor's daughter to blackmail the mayor into signing illegal bills; the daughter is kidnapped and taken to the boss's secret house, but her loyal collie tracks her down and bravely rescues her from a fire in the house!) starring Shep the Dog, Helen Badgley, Morgan Jones, Carey L. Hastings, John Niblack, and J. Morris Foster
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we were consigned this poster! Note also that this one-sheet measures 28 1/4" x 42" [72 x 107 cm].

Condition: very good. There is approximately 4" of pretty clean separation at the top and bottom of the vertical foldline and there is a small tear to the right of that separation at bottom. There are tack holes around the edges and there is some slight discoloration on back of the lower edge but it is not very noticeable or distracting on the front. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well and if one chose to have the very rare poster linenbacked it would look great!
