It originally read "Music by Max Steiner". We have seen other examples of this poster with the same credit blacked out, and we imagine it is because Steiner did not end up doing the music, due to some dispute. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: good to very good. There is an indentation and area of creasing and scuffing in the background at upper left. There are some smudges and minor creases scattered throughout the poster (more so around the edges). There is a small area in the credits at lower center that has been "blacked out" .
