An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Placer sangriento (released in the U.S. in a dubbed version as "The Feast of Flesh" and also as "The Deadly Organ", and we don't know if that version was dubbed or not), the 1967 Emilio Vieyra Argentinean heroin drugs zombie horror thriller ("It will blow your mind!"; "Love Drug Killer"; "Nude Victim Found"; "...turned on and tuned in...") starring Mauricio De Ferraris, Alberto Candeau, Ricardo Bauleo, Eduardo Munoz, Susana Beltran, Gloria Prat, and Emilio Vieyra. Note that the information about the release of this movie comes from the IMDb, which also says that the movie was released in Canada as "The Deadly Organ". We have never seen any first release U.S. poster with the "The Feast of Flesh" title on it, but we have seen a double bill with this movie that calls it "The Feast of Flesh". The only poster other than the U.S. one-sheet that says "The Deadly Organ" on it that we have auctioned is a Mexican poster, and we have never seen an Argentinean poster (though a collector shared an image of one that was given to him by Emilio Vieyra and it looks really cool!) or one from any other country, so there is much unknown about the release of this movie! A knowledgeable collector tells us that the movie completed filming in 1965 but it was not released at that time, and that it was one of four films Emilio Vieyra made to be released directly in Spanish-speaking markets in the United States, and (as mentioned above) it was also included in multi-bill releases. If anyone knows more about any this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases, scuffs, and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds. It had a small stain in the green background at top center. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
