28 Original Vintage Theatrical Dutch 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More)

Das Phantom von Soho (released in the U.S. in 1967 as "The Phantom of Soho" solely as a double-bill with "The Monster of London City"), the 1964 Franz Josef Gottlieb German horror mystery thriller (based on a novel by Bryan Edgar Wallace, son of the extremely successful author, Edgar Wallace) starring Dieter Borsche, Barbara Rutting, Hans Sohnker, Peter Vogel, Helga Sommerfeld, Werner Peters, Hans Nielsen, and Elisabeth Flickenschildt. Note that we believe that this movie solely played as a double-bill in the U.S., although individual stills were created. If this is incorrect, and anyone knows of this movie playing by itself, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
Important Added Info: SUPER IMPORTANT! THIS LOT CONTAINS 28 STILLS, BUT ONLY EIGHT OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED! THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 28 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE, and NOT just the eight pictured! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best eight stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing eight of the stills. Note that these stills measure 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm].

Condition: fair. Note that three of the stills show naked women, and the theater that displayed these stills cut that part of the image on those stills and taped a piece of paper to the back of the hole. Otherwise, each still has a faint embossed stamp at upper right and pinholes in the corners that were repaired with tape from the back.
